Takoma Park is known for its quirky shops and small businesses. Takoma’s Historic District is packed with cafes, restaurants, and locally-owned shops. Takoma Park staples include Mark’s Kitchen, a café-style restaurant that serves a mixture of American and Korean food; Roscoe’s Neapolitan Pizzeria; and Republic, a retro bistro serving seasonal fare, oysters, and a craft cocktails. Takoma Park is home to a year-round farmer’s market and annual festivals, as well as a post office and metro station.
